I am a Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Instructor, First Responder & Emergency Medical Responder instructor, First Aid Instructor Trainer and happy to be able to add the AWRFA & WRFA to our list of available courses. When the Red Cross First Aid manual was revised in 2005, I was the south-western Ontario representative on the Training Committee which wrote the 2006 edition of the manual. I am also a Rappel Master and trained in Recreational High Angle Rescue.

I've been a Scout Leader since 1992 and in 2006 was part of a Scouts Canada team that went to Belize to build a hurricane shelter for their community.

I'm an avid outdoor person from walking the dog to cycling, camping, canoeing, rappelling, white water rafting, tidal bore rafting, scuba diving and hot air ballooning.

I'm a First Aid Instructor, and have taken my experiences as an instructor and turned it into a career in teaching. I have been active with Scouting for most of my life and I've recently joined our local Volunteer Fire Department so I can use some of my knowledge in my community.
