Course Location: Unless otherwise stated, all courses are held at 875 Hamilton Road, London

This course prepares individuals to provide first response in an emergency. It covers all aspects of First Responder plus additional skills and practical scenarios to enhance the abilities of the responder to provide care until full EMS response is available. It is aimed at emergency response professionals such as firefighters, police, workplace response team members, athletic therapists or others with a duty to respond. It is also advisable for anyone looking at employment in fields such as patient transfer services.

80 hour course with flexible scheduling options


3-year certification as Emergency Medical Responder and CPR Level HCP
Includes AED (Automated External Defibrillation) certification
Unless otherwise stated, course times are 8am-6pm each day.

It meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profiles for the practitioner level of Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).

Cost: $1025.00

Minimum 50% deposit due 21 days prior to the course, balance must be received at least 1 week before the course, or a late fee of $75.00 will be added to the outstanding balance.

This course upgrades individuals who have completed a First Responder course within the previous 3 years from an accredited provider and now want to upgrade to Emergency Medical Responder. A participant must attend a skills evaluation prior to the course to ensure that they are still proficient in their First Responder skills (please contact us for the cost and to set up a date/time). It meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profiles for the practitioner level of Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).

40 hour course with flexible scheduling options
3-year certification as Emergency Medical Responder and CPR Level HCP
Includes AED (Automated External Defibrillation) certification
Unless otherwise stated, course times are 8am-6pm each day

NOTE: You MUST have completed either a First Responder (40 hr course) current within 3 years or a First Responder Recertification (20hr course) current within 3 years to qualify for an Emergency Medical Responder Bridge

If your First Responder certificate is more than one year old then you must do a skills assessment prior to taking the course (please contact us for the cost and to set up a date/time). It meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profiles for the practitioner level of Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).
